Yeah, Loki's a bit more of a father-figure-ish type to his Chosen, but I imagine that he's very fond of Jack because it's another immortal. So he dotes on Jack a bit more, like how he indulges Fenrir's overeating and Yamino's mail-order addiction.

I liked that version of the myth because it was told like someone was telling you the story, not just reading it out of a myth text.
