It smells really good, too.

THIS awesome fan let us take pictures of her chest. Also, RTD wanted to cross out Ianto when she had him sign something. No, seriously.

A sort-of blurry shot of Scott and John being adorable

Doctor Who panel

Photobucket According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Doctor Who is the longest-running show ever. RTD accepted it for Verity Lambert, the show's creator.

American Dad Table read

Photobucket
Paper Hearts panel. I actually met them at the zoo and told them how much I enjoyed the panel. The big thick black thing between the guy in white and the girl in red is the dildo. Youtube it, I'm sure it's there.

Photobucket
SHE THREW THE DILDO INTO THE CROWD.

Photobucket
Photobucket
The Mystery Team panel was... well, I think I missed something. Let's leave it at that.

Photobucket
Eric McCormic and the guy who created X-Files (that's the director of the homage movie thing).

Photobucket
Photobucket
Being Human panel. I need to look into that show.

Photobucket

Photobucket
The Torchwood panel!

Photobucket
The mod, after JB told him he was hot.

Photobucket
They sell steaks, btw.

Photobucket
THE ZOO.

I have a ton more pictures from the zoo. If you want them, PM me and I'll send you the whole kit-n-caboodle somehow. I'm just going to give you the highlights here.

There was this tiny little nice restaurant tucked away inside the zoo. It was just lovely.

And... that's about it!

Yeah, the guy who directed Overnight also did the final scenes where the news is interviewing the general public. I've sort of become a quick crash-course fan. *laughs* I saw the movie a few years back, and I have friends who own it/watch it religiously so I've had it accessible, but I finally just bought it myself today. All because of the panel.

AH! Sorry, I meant November. November 1. KICKOFF, Y/Y?!

And we also need to have a ZOMG WE LOST WEIGHT dinner party. We'll talk about it!

[identity profile] gracie-musica.livejournal.com 2009-08-04 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Scott and John were checking out all the hot guys. No, seriously, they were!

The Star Trek cologne actually smelled really good. They had a perfume called Pon Far which was good too.

They think the panda may be pregnant 'cause some pictures people have taken have her with pink fur. Apparently, something in female panda biology makes their saliva turn the white fur pink when they're pregnant.

I've never been in a panel where they booed the panel people. People asking stupid questions, of course, got booed, but never panel people. It could have been much, much worse.

I'm glad you liked the pictures, honey! :D And you're welcome for the updates.

While I understand the sentiment, let's keep it below aggravated assault here on the Internet?

I was tempted to get a ticket, walk up to him and then go, "Naaaaah," and walk away. But I would have had to get up super-duper early and I really wasn't that invested, if you catch my drift.

[identity profile] blucougar.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
*looks sheepish*

You're right, of course. Sorry, but that man makes me want to hit him. I think what really aggravated me was not even his dismissal of the coffee campaign, but that he couldn't even be gracious enough to acknowledge the money that's been raised by the SaveIantoJones site. Unlike our John, who was very quick to praise the fans for that effort.

[identity profile] gracie-musica.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
It's all right. Trust me, it was hard to resist. And they had about five security people at the BBCA booth just from the con.

And yes, John was very quick to praise that, while it just seemed to tick RTD off. Of course, he's all over that charity, so he would! *laughs*

[identity profile] blucougar.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
I have a feeling that John would have praised it, even if the money were pledged to a charity that he isn't affiliated with. It's the kind of guy he is. He knows the importance of showing genuine appreciation, unlike a certain producer who seems to think it doesn't matter if no one watches his shows.

[identity profile] gracie-musica.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
What's bad/sad is that I was planning on getting into Supernatural, but now that RTD wants us to watch it because we can't handle Torchwood, I don't want to see it. *is falling into Bones*

[identity profile] thrace-adams.livejournal.com 2009-08-08 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh these pictures are gorgeous! And your picture of that shirt was amazing! I still want that shirt LOL. *HUGS* Love the zoo pics - looks like they've added some stuff since we were last there as well. Glad you got to go!

[identity profile] gracie-musica.livejournal.com 2009-08-10 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
I am so glad the pictures turned out well! Last year's pictures were so blurry, they drove me crazy.

The zoo was amazing, but I'd probably wait for the little one to get a bit older -- it's pretty massive and around four I could hear the little ones whining for their naps. *laughs*

[identity profile] thrace-adams.livejournal.com 2009-08-10 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
OH yeah, when we go to the zoo, we usually leave around 2ish...otherwise it's just too long for him. 4 or 5 hours at the most.
