A friend of mine (sh0) and I were discussing Torchwood one night (she's not into the fandom), and I was describing the Janto thing, and she goes, "WOW! It's like 58 in Saiyuki!"

So I guess it's sort of a rebirth/alternate dimensional memory cracking through.
