"I told you to lay off."

An amused chuckle. "Don't you worry, Rosie. A little bit of discipline can be fun!"

"That sort of talk's what got you scrubbing the console room with a toothbrush."

"Oh, it's not so bad." Honest, reassuring. "I'm a military man, even if the punishment's a little... retro."

"Why I picked it." Behind you, unexpected, making you jump. "And I figured some time scrubbing on your knees would teach you some humility."

"I do my best work on my knees, Doctor." Full of faux innocence. And promise.

Bite the inside of your cheek to keep from laughing at the Doctor's face.

You already know how much I love this drabble. It's so funny, and you captured the characters so perfectly. I love Jack, who cheerfully accepts the punishment but is not in the least embarrassed or humiliated, and the Doctor, clearly wanting to teach him a lesson, but with fondness, not malice. *g* Very well done!

Ooh, this is gorgeous! Funny and sexy, with such strong overtones of the Doctor's sense of humour. He's not really punishing Jack - he'd do something far worse than that if he really intended to punish him. And I bet he's grinning inside at this:

I is a bad commentor. I read this before my computer went out me last week and thought I commented. And then I was looking at my flist and realised I hadn't. Sorry about that!

This was too funny. *giggles* And Jack scrubbing the floors on his knees gives me a nice mental image. I'm not sure it was much of a punishment, since its probably a game to Jack but I love it! *goes to happy place*
