Before I start on the actual content I have to say that the idea itself is inspired. It's just completely Ianto. I love the idea of Ianto trying to care for Jack from beyond the grave.

This is gorgeous, stunningly beautiful in only a few words.

Have you ever seen "Still Standing"? There's an episode where Judy (the wife) writes out this whole big letter about where stuff is and all sorts of important things in a, like, 20 page letter in case she dies first. That really inspired this.

Soooo I am supposed to go to dinner and a movie like this??????

I teared up when I wrote this! I did just see this as an Ianto thing -- a letter, more classic, more tactile.

God, things that deal with Ianto's death are always sad, but if done well are also very touching. This is definitely one of those times. Well done.

So very Ianto, thank you for this. I do hope he really left Jack a letter like this one. There is nothing worse than a 'gone forever' without a proper goodbye....I just found that out the hard way recently..

I like to think that Ianto did something like that, to be honest. He probably realized just how much Jack needed something like that.
