Another world, another host. Syaoran, Sakura and Mokona had left nearly a month ago with Calgen, the eldest son, to find the feather.
It was nice being around mages again, to catch up with his own kind. Tobias, the second son, was kind enough to Fai, but it got lonely.
Especially with Kurogane so... occupied.
Marissa, Tobias' twin, wasn't courtly. She was brash and cocky, but she moved with an elegance Fai didn't possess.
And she held Kurogane's complete attention.
Fai hated to admit it, but he was jealous.
Kurogane never looked at him like he looked at her.

Another world, another host family to say with. Fai sighed. How long had they been here again? A month, month and a half? That sounded about right.
This world was more like his own, with courts and mages. In fact, they were staying with a family of mages--the Williams family of a country called Scotland. The head of the family was a young (for a mage) man named Tobias, who was also the advisor for his king, Darren. The family consisted of Calgen (the eldest, who was a ranger), Tobias (the head of the family when he inherited his father's job) and his wife Rachel, Marissa (Tobias' twin, a blade mistress) and three other siblings who were living in a seperate country.
Calgen had taken Sakura, Syaoran and Mokona with him to find the feather as soon as the preparations had been made. They'd been gone a for such a long time, Fai was beginning to get slightly discouraged with the turn of events. However, he and Kurogane could still converse--Tobias had told him that it was because of the flow of magic between himself and Marissa, but Fai suspected that it was because the scouting party wasn't out as far as they thought. While they were gone, Fai had kept himself immersed in Tobias' astonishing library, reading everything from folklore to magic spells.
Tobias was a good man. Wise for his age and very in touch with what the people wanted, he often spoke his mind and treated the king like everyone else. And King Darren listened, taking his opinion in to considerating whenever he made laws.
It was almost inspiring enough to give him hope for his own kingdom.
The clang of steel on steel made him look out the window of the chambers he was sharing with Kurogane to find the ninja sparring with the swordsmistress down in the courtyard, the blades flashing in the sun. The girl was wearing a shit-eating grin, bouncing around like she was on something.
Something pulled at Fai's heartstrings when he noticed that Kurogane was smiling back at her.
He never looks at me like that.
---
Marissa Wu wasn't pretty--she looked way too much like her twin to be so. She was somewhat short and well built, not like the tall, willowy women at court. And while she was wise like her brother, she had a quick temper, and a quicker tongue. She was not quite suited for court life.
What she did know were her blades--or anything with a sharp edge--and could give Kurogane a good run for his money. That was enough for him.
The fact that she was friendly and helpful was just an added bonus.
Her twin had proudly announced her one of the best blade mistresses in the world, but she had just blushed and denied it. After spending time sparring with her, he had to admit that Tobias was right; she was good, damn good, and was not above using her feminine wiles to win a fight.
She stopped in the middle of their fight, ducking under Kurogane's blade before waving energetically at a window high above Kurogane's head.
The ninja turned his attention to a second-story window behind him. Fai was standing there, his forehead against the glass windowpane and he looked so... dejected.
Then that face was gone, replaced by that damned fake smile of his before the blonde mage moved away from the window.
"Ai ya, that boyo's got it bad," the red-haired blade mistress sighed behind Kurogane.
The tall ninja turned to look at her. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," Marissa said, sheathing her broadsword, "that your lover is jealous."
"What? That doesn't make sense."
"Men, you're all the same." She put her hands on her hips as she slung the sheathed sword over her back. "Let's take a hypothetical: Let's say that 'Bias was spending a lot of time with Fai, studying magic, which you can't do and which means you'll be out of the loop. And let's also suppose that you didn't know that Tobias was married." Marissa paused, pulling her wedding ring out of her pocket to slip it onto her hand. "What would you do?"
"Lock Fai up in our bedroom and remind him that he's mine," came the immediate reply.
Marissa put a hand on her forehead. "Fai isn't that... brash. Kurogane, wha tyou need to do is go lock him up in your room and remind him that you are still his. Trust me when I say that love is very much give and take: You have to do both for it to flourish."
Kurogane fell silent, thinking. Marissa walked up to him, looking up into his face. She was a smidge taller than Sakura, but her head still only reached his chest. "You really do love Fai, don't you?"
The ninja glared at her, not answering such a ridiculous question. The glare was enough of an answer, and Marissa smiled up at him.
"Go, Kurogane. The little ones and the marshmallow and my brother will be gone for a few more days yet."
"How do you know that?"
Marissa winked. "I'm a mage by birth and a princess by marriage. Between the two professions, I know all."

Fai sighed, closing the spell book he wasn't even trying to read. Part of him was happy that his lover was happy as well; the other part of him was extremely jealous of the his red-haired competition.
He tossed the tome onto the bedside table and curled up underneath the covers on the bed. Just as he was starting to get comfortable and maybe drift off, he heard the door open and close softly. It was probably Kurogane, so he just rolled over, putting his back to the door.
He jumped slightly when the bed dipped under the ninja's weight, but relaxed when the man slid under the covers as well and slung an arm around Fai's waist. "You shouldn't turn your back to the door, Flowright."
Fai made a noncomittal noise in his throat.
Kurogane pressed a butterfly soft kiss against the juncture of Fai's neck. "I don't like her."
Fai rolled his eyes but didn't answer.
When he got no response, he began to nibble on the sensitive skin under his lips, his hand sliding down southwards to slide underneath his waistband.
Fai groaned when Kurogane's calloused hand closed around his cock, stroking him to hardness.
"There's no need to be jealous," Kurogane murmured into his ear, kissing it.
"I'm no~t..." Fai protested as Kurogane began stroking him in earnest. The blonde writhed against his lover, panting heavily as the ninja quickly brought him to climax, white, sticky seed spilling over Kurogane's hand.
As the blonde shivered from the force of such a quick, forceful climax, Kurogane stripped off their clothes, sliding his fingers into Fai's hypersensitive post-orgasmic body. The mage arched and cried out as his lover prepared him, the slick feel of his own cooling semen being used as impromptu lubricant a surprising turn-on.
"You're mine, Fai," Kurogane told the mage firmly as he positioned himself at the blonde's opening. "And I'm yours."
With that, Kurogane slammed into his lover, watching the man dance and writhe under him as he rammed into him. The ninja set a punishing pace, making sure he nailed Fai's prostate with every thrust. He stroked Fai as he plunged deeper and deeper within the welcoming heat, feeling his own orgasm grow closer and closer. The dick in his hand was expanding slightly, signaling that he was close to climax.
The dark-haired man tightened his grip around the base of Fai's cock, stopping his movements but still thrusting harder and harder into the mage. As the blonde cried out in protest, Kurogane leaned over to speak into his lover's ear.
"Say it, Fai. Say I'm yours."
"Yes," came the breathy reply from the willowy man. "Yes!"
"SAY IT!" Kurogane roared at his lover, using a voice that always made others scurry in fear.
"You're mine!" Fai cried back, leaning up to bite the ninja's shoulder hard, claiming him as he climaxed again between their bodies.
Kurogane growled as the mage's teeth sank into his flesh, the pain mixing in with the feel of Fai's channel contracting deliciously around his cock and pulling his orgasm out of him. Kurogane bucked hard into the tight opening, spurting deep inside the blonde's body as he shook from the overload of pleasure.
The two collapsed back against the sheets, breathing hard as they slowly drifted back down from the stars. Kurogane smiled, his eyes closed as he felt a warm, wet tongue lapping at his oozing shoulder.
"Mine," Fai declared between licks. "All mine, only mine."
"I never share either," Kurogane agreed, pulling the mage up for a kiss.

Wu Lai found his wife fanning herself, sitting outside the travelers' chambers. He stopped before her, dark eyebrows raised in question.
"What?" the red head whined.
"You're going to be the Empress of China. This is most inappropriate behavior," the prince half-mocked, half-admonished his wife.
"But it's hot!"
"And you say men are pigs when they say the same thing about two women."
"No, that can be hot too," Marissa disagreed.
Lai sighed and put a hand to his forehead. Days like these made him wonder why he had said yes.
