So I'm reading this article about The Lightning Thief movie that's coming in February, and it looks interesting and I've heard good things about the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. A friend of mine and her kid rec the book series (they're just as big on Classical and Mythological things as I am), and I picked them up to read during my trip to visit kinfolk for Thanksgiving. It's just as good as the recs promised, but it didn't give me Percy Jackson/Torchwood crossover bunnies. It gave me Torchwood/Mythological Detective Loki Ragnarok plotbunnies. With Percy Jackson references. WTH, mate. Follows Favored Son, Blessed Be, and Imitating Art
