Um... Well, frankly, I'm sort of... calm about it. I mean, towards the end, it was like fanfic.

And I say that as a fanfic writer.

This is why the creators shouldn't be allowed to write in their own universes. Hello, paging George Lucas?

I mean, the storyline? Brilliant. Child-snatching junkie aliens and government cover-ups. Totally didn't see some of it coming, saw other parts coming a mile away. Also, I do have to say... Someone was reading LotR because all those 'council' scenes... Yeah. I was hoping someone would launch a Hobbit or a ring in there somewhere.

I'm also sorta lulzy at the moment because in my head the 456 are now The Creepy Uncle You're Not Allowed To Visit On Your Lonesome.

And please say I wasn't the only one screaming "SHADOW FUCKING PROCLAMATION" at my tv? Please? I mean, what are we, the redheaded stepchild in the intergalactic basement? What next, just blow us up completely to make way for that hyperspace bypass they've been talking about for years!?

Anyway. *waves hands* Probably more later.



And now a note for those of us going to SDCC. They're showing Day Five one of the days -- Saturday, I think? Or maybe Sunday? I can't remember.
