In the quiet, as Gwen and Jack stared one another down, very faintly, the sound of a heart breaking. You know, "Meat" is probably one of the episodes that want to make me feed the Alien with whoever wrote it. Mostly because while I do agree that Jack had to be professional during the fight when it came to Ianto and had to send him after them even considering they almost killed Ianto a second before because it is their jobs. I absolutely hate that the end, they make it about Gwen and Jack and not about the fact that Ianto almost died there, considering that by then Ianto and Jack were something else. Ok too much rant, and this was lovely chapter, so no more rant.
"Everything, Jack. Absolutely everything. They're first and I'm second." Oh gosh, if I didn't know how your story evolved to, I would have been freaking out by this point!
"I don't want anyone else. I love you, Ianto Jones. You're my number one." OMG! Not just because of the ILY but...you like Sakura Card Captors?? OMG I ADORE ADORE it. Here where I live, you have multiplex theaters that hold 200+ people or so but they are one two old theaters that one that hold up to 2000 people and in one of those many many years ago, I saw "The Sealed Card", amazing to see how many people loved that movie, I did.
