Okay. So I know some of you are probably going, "Gracie, it's [livejournal.com profile] redismycolour tiem, wherefore is my fic?!"

Well, the reason why I haven't been writing so much is because I was actually working on a piece of original fiction. You see, a friend of mine has started this thing called a Ten Dime Novel through the local comic shop. One short story gets published every month, for $1 -- ten dimes. Both Troll (the guy who started this idea) and [livejournal.com profile] midassa_in_gold have had brilliant stories put out.

... And guess who's getting one in March?

For those of you who don't live in and around Lake Charles, once the story sells out, it will be available as an e-book here on lulu.com for the same price -- $1. So you won't be missing out on anything!

Closer to March, I'll be talking more about it, but if you've got a couple of bucks to spare, I suggest you go pick up the previous three: Pyro, Steal, and For You, Anything. They are all brilliant stories.

Did you blink when you passed through? :)
It was something, that one. Ike, was it? I posted my first-ever TW fic the night it came ashore. Wow.
This is entirely TOO COOL!

I was so tired, if I'd blinked (blunk?) I'd have fallen asleep. And both of 'em, actually. We went up, then over.

My roomie and I rode it out here. I went to my first gay bar with him one night during the second hurricane when we had no electricity because, against all odds, they did. (It was in Alexandria.) That's a story in itself! At least you don't get lots of creepy guys hitting on you and you can enjoy the atmosphere. And there were lots of boys kissing. Lots. It was very pretty. LOL!
